The Literary Salon started before I had my inspiration for the Right-Reader System. It began with the regret that we couldn’t be a part of Gertrude Stein’s literary salon for the lost generation, and I started this playfully hinting at the idea that Gertrude’s ghost was looking over as.
We meet in the chat to share a post for others to read and support, and I thought that’s all the salon would be, until now.
I was on vacation, taking a cruise along Croatia and Greece, when I awoke to an epiphany. For the first time, I knew how to reach the readers I so desperately needed, and not only me but I could clearly see how the idea would work for a couple of other publications I knew well through The Literary Salon.
It was my original intent not to start writing about my ideas until we’d tested them out for a few weeks, but I couldn’t wait. The day I got back, after setting up my publications to prepare for the change, I began writing about it here. Technically, with the Big Change Diary, I started while I was still in Italy. That first day back, I wrote the first two articles as well as a version of this I’ve just now deleted. It’s 4am on the morning I’m going back to work, and I’m up writing this. I’m obsessed. I need to get my thoughts down.
Why am I willing to talk about my big idea? Because it doesn’t make us into competitors. We’re all looking for our own right readers, and this system helps you send out a becon to attract people primed to be your perfect readers. You’ll have non-writer subscribers who are mentally ready to receive the very things you write about.
As I write about my ideas, I’ll be practicing them on my own account and with a volunteer, one of those publications I mentioned. I saw it transformed that day of my epiphany, and now we’re working to see its reality match that vision.
You can begin by reading the promise of this system.
The first 5 introductory articles cover the following topics:
I’ll see you there, and until then…
I’m Thaddeus Thomas.
