I self-published and did it all right. It’s still on Amazon and not selling like hotcakes. It did initially, but then lost steam because I write and don’t really like the marketing game. I’d rather leave it up to someone else.
Also Robert Pirsig’s “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” author went insane and was hospitalized I believe. Can’t remember if it was while writing or all the rejections.
I enjoyed reading this. Like riding the waves of your imagination and how you make it real. I’d say my progress is slow but steady. I’ll keep you posted.

My cutting room floor is close to knee-deep in fits and starts of stories. I call the mess my learning curve.
